DTN COMMENTS: The country is off to another slow start this morning,
with bids and asking prices still not established. Packer inquiry will
have to improve as the day progresses, having said that it is possible
that significant trade volume may be delayed until after the on feed
report is released at 2:00pm CST. Beef cutouts are expected to be mixed
with light to moderate box movement.

For the period of February 6 to February 12, beef net sale of 14,700 MT
for 2026 were down 6 percent from the previous week and 13 percent from
the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for South Korea (5,500
MT), Japan (2,600 MT), Hong Kong (1,600 MT), Taiwan (1,300 MT), and
Indonesia (1,100 MT). Exports of 13,400 MT were up 15 percent from the
previous week and 7 percent from the prior 4-week average. The
destinations were primarily to South Korea (4,400 MT), Japan (3,900 MT),
Taiwan (1,200 MT), Mexico (1,200 MT), and Hong Kong (1,000 MT).
